At Mitchell Evangelical Free Church, we believe ministry happens both inside and outside the walls of the church. Our ministries are here to serve individuals, families, and the community by pointing people to Christ, encouraging spiritual growth, and building meaningful relationships. Whether you’re looking for a place to grow, serve, or belong, there’s a place for you here.
Prayer is foundational to our life together as a church. We believe in the power of prayer to bring comfort, healing, and direction. Our prayer chain allows members to lift one another up throughout the week.
Music is an important part of worship at MEFC. Through a blend of modern and traditional songs, we aim to prepare hearts to hear God’s Word and respond in praise. Our worship team serves to lead the congregation in singing with sincerity, truth, and joy.
But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.
– Psalm 59:16

At MEFC, we believe in walking alongside each other through every season of life. Our men’s and women’s ministries exist to foster real community, grounded in God’s Word and strengthened through shared life.
Women’s Ministry offers regular Bible studies, prayer gatherings, and fellowship events that encourage connection and spiritual growth.
Men’s Ministry provides opportunities for study, prayer, and meaningful friendships through group events and discipleship.
We’d love for you to get involved and grow with us.
Sunday School at MEFC is designed to help all ages grow in their knowledge of God’s Word and their relationship with Jesus Christ. We offer classes for children, youth, and adults every Sunday morning before the worship service.
Each class is taught with care and a commitment to truth, creating a space to ask questions, build community, and deepen your faith.
Sunday School begins at 9:00 AM. All are welcome.

Serving others is a vital part of our mission at MEFC. We are committed to sharing the love of Christ in practical ways, both in Mitchell and in surrounding areas.
From supporting local ministries to organizing outreach projects, our church family actively looks for ways to meet needs, build relationships, and reflect the heart of Jesus in our community.
There’s always a place to jump in and make a difference.
We believe every follower of Jesus is uniquely gifted to serve and make a difference. At MEFC, there are many ways to get involved, from volunteering in ministry to joining a small group or simply being present in the life of the church.
If you’re ready to take a next step or just want to learn more, we would love to connect with you and help you find your place.
