MEFC Ministries

MEFC Ministries are designed to minister to both individuals and groups. Our goal is to present Christ clearly and accurately, and to share Christ with our community.

Prayer

It is always a privilege to pray for those in our community. We have a prayer chain that we send out to all members to pray for others needs. We currently are hosting Weekly Prayer Meetings on Wednesday evenings. Please email mitchellevangelicalinfo@gmail.com for more information or to send us a prayer request.

Men’s/Women’s

MEFC believes in meeting people where they are and connecting with them in their lives. To this end, we have a women’s group that meets for Bible study on a regular basis and also holds regular events for fellowship. Our men’s group also holds regular Bible studies and looks to connect with men through common interests. We have regular times of fellowship, creating friendships that matter. Check out the Events on our Home Page for more information.

Sunday School

We offer a variety of Sunday School classes depending on your age. Our Adult class meets each Sunday morning at 9:30. The Youth Group class also meets each Sunday morning at the same time in the Youth Room. We strive to go deeper into the Bible and encourage open discussion in all of our classes.

Youth

Our Youth meet each week during Sunday School and every other Tuesday at 6:30 PM. We are dedicated to teaching the students the Word of God clearly and making it applicable to their everyday lives. This is a group that makes lasting friendships, welcomes all who come, and finds time for each other inside and outside the church. Please email mitchellevangelicalinfo@gmail.com for more information.

Music

Music is an important part of worship. We strive to prepare people’s hearts for the preaching of the Word of God with a combination of modern and traditional music .

But I will sing of your strength,
in the morning I will sing of your love;
for you are my fortress,
my refuge in times of trouble. Psalm 59:16

Community service

MEFC is committed to the community around us from Mitchell, Scottsbluff, Gering, Morrill, and beyond. We seek to be involved in the community and invite the community to be involved with us. We believe that ministry happens outside the walls of the church as we engage with those God has put in our lives.
